2NE1’s been pretty busy lately.  All the stuff that they’ve uploaded on youtube dominates my subscription page.  Anyway, the song and video take it in an entirely different direction.  The song is whatever, but at least the look is interesting.

Sandara Park posted this on her me2day.  Our wedding is some time in July.

I saw this picture of Park Bom on Sandara Park's me2DAY.  I'm able to tell because she's eating In-n-Out.  God only knows how much I miss the Double-Double.

For those unfamiliar with it, me2DAY is a micro-blogging service used in Korea.  It's a lot like Twitter, but I actually think it's better.  It has more features than Twitter, but it's not overly complex.  For one thing, you can actually post pictures on it.  There are also a lot of celebrities on it like Sandara Park from 2NE1.  Here's a picture she posted earlier today in response Korea's loss against Argentina.  God only knows how much I love her.

 

I thought about making an account today, but I wasn't sure what I would do with it.  I know that I would never update, but it would make following all the hip k-pop stars easier.  Oh well.

By the way, you can check out the list of celebrity me2DAY accounts at aa-chan.net.  There's also a tutorial on how to make your own account on that site too.  If you decide to make one then let me know.  I might be convinced into actually making one if some people I know are on it.

I dream K-pop.

When I was napping earlier today, I had a crazy dream. My friend from back home called me and asked me if I could do her a huge favor. She needed me to pick her friend up at the airport and her friend was none other than CL from 2NE1. How they knew each other never came up, but I said yes. For some reason my brother was here in Korea and he picked me up in a car to go to the airport. I forgot my camera at home, so we had to turn back and that's where the dream ends.

I did mention this idea before and I actually decided to work on it. This is all I really have right now, since I don't have as much free time at work as I used to. I want to finish now that I started, but I'm not sure how long it'll take me. I'll probably start using a different program than the one I'm using now, so it could be a really long while. It'll probably sound really shitty when I'm finished anyways.

I guess 2NE1 was out partying with fashion designer Jeremy Scott at Club Answer this past weekend. I didn't know about over the event or else I would have went. Minzy's missing probably since she's underage, but CL and Park Bom are looking good. Of course there's Sandara Park, my one and only.

All these photos are from Hospital Korea and you can check out the entire gallery here. You should check out the site since it's pretty cool. It's photos from clubs and events in Korea. There's even another set of photos of the Brown Eyed Girls at the same club from a few weeks ago too. If anything, all the photos show me that I've been going to the wrong clubs the past seven months I've been here.

Idea for the greatest mashup of all time.

Lollipop - Lil Wayne X Big Bang & 2NE1

This came up in conversation I had yesterday, but imagine these two songs together. It would probably be the best mashup in history, while being the worst sounding shit of all time. Either way, I'm sure it'd get a lot of youtube hits.

This is a commercial for the Corby with 2NE1. There are a few different versions that I've seen on TV, but I guess this is the full version. Also, Park Bom is starting to grow on me.

The Korea Times thinks Perez Hilton is a woman.

I'm not a huge fan of Perez Hilton and it's not like I dislike his site either, but this is hilarious. In this article, the Korea Times is reporting how 2NE1 and Big Bang music videos have been posted on his site and how Perez has mentioned that he likes K-pop. However, they refer to him as a woman throughout the whole article. For example, "Perez Hilton showed her favor to Korean pop songs." I guess there is one time where they correctly say he, but that's besides the point. I wonder how long it'll take them to fix it.

The new 2NE1 video

YG Entertainment posted this video this new video on Youtube a few days ago. It's an alright song. The part I like the best is at 1:44. Sandara Park + Star Wars = really funny.

There's not much else to do at work.

I saw this this video at King Kong this weekend and spent some time on Youtube looking for that shit. Anyway, it's 2NE1's live performance a few months ago at some awards show. Anyway, I don't really think it's neat as their music videos, but I like the whole pseudo-plot they have going on.

Here comes a new challenger!

I've been watching K-pop videos all day along with the Olympics. For a long time now, Tae Yeon has been my Korean celebrity crush. She's in the popular girl group, Girls' Generation.

However, as I'm watching the videos, I have to say that I might be falling in love with Sandara Park from 2NE1.

I started reading up on her and it turns out that she got popular in the Philippines on an American Idol-like competition. Her brother is also in the group MBLAQ. It's actually pretty cool since when you google Tae Yeon, you just find a lot of shit about how she's a racist.
