Yesterday's adventure went well.

Yesterday's adventure ended up being a trip to Apgujeong.  I made it there and back safely in time for work, which was awesome.  However, there were a few mishaps that occurred:

• I got a little lost.  I made it to the stop and with the buses fine.  I just wasn't sure which way it was out of the exit.  So I ended up just walking around, which was fine, except for the fact it was hot and I was carrying all the shit I needed for work.  I ended up just taking a cab, which was the smart choice, since I had walked for half an hour in the wrong direction.
• The bag I wanted was sold out.  I expected it a little, since it said it was sold out online.  I just figured that the actual location might have had a display one that I could have purchased.  They didn't, so I ended up just buying the same bag but in a different color.
• I knocked over three bottles of champagne in front of a Tour Les Jours.  This wasn't my fault though.  Some guy was squeezing by me and he forced me out of the way.  I turned to the side and my backpack ended up knocking the bottles over.  They all shattered on the ground and splattered on four girls who looked very angrily at me.  All I did was say I was sorry.  After standing around for a minute and realizing that no one was coming out from the store, I just walked off.  I feel pretty bad about it, but even if someone came out, I wouldn't have been able to explain the situation.

I might start trying to schedule a trip into the city like this one once a week.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to wake up early enough, but I might as well try.  It'd be nice to get up and do something productive every once in a while.

I'm in Seoul for the next few days.

Since I had to move out my apartment on Thursday, I moved all my stuff to my friend Alex's house in Hongdae.  It's been a lot of back and forth between Incheon because I've been taking care of some stuff but I'm finished now, so I'm just going sit back and relax for the next few days.  I might do some sight seeing and probably a bit of shopping.  I should probably buy a few souvenirs or something before I go back home on Friday.

Ferry Corsten is coming to Seoul.

He's going to be at Club Volume this Saturday. With Benassi on Friday, it's a good weekend for music in Korea. Too bad I'm all partied out though.

How exciting.

The 4th World DJ Festival in Seoul starts in less than 12 hours and I'm fucking excited. It's going to be a good time. I've found out there's going to be four different stages. I was a little worried about booze and I was getting ready to sneak in a bunch of my own, but it looks like Jager is one of the sponsors so everything works out. I'm probably not bringing my camera. I thought about it, since it's definitely going to be crazy, but I'm too afraid to break it, otherwise I'd be documenting the shit out of it.

Benny Benassi is coming to Seoul.

Show's on May 14th and you can cop the tickets for 40,000 right now on interpark.com. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go to this, especially with the World DJ Festival around the corner.

It's been a good weekend.

Kenny's here visting Korea so we did a lot of touristy shit, which I don't really do on my own. Here's some of the things that we did:

• We went to the COEX Mall in Gangnam. Unfortunately, the Kimchi Museum was closed when we got there.
• Took a piss at Namsan Tower while overlooking the Seoul skyline. Seriously, the urinal at that place looks over the whole city.
• Walked into King Kong and people chanted my name. No joke.
• I bought a cute new camera strap.
• Saw police out in riot gear at Myong-dong today.
• Went to a party in Sinchon at a bar called JJ. The bartender opened up two bottles of vodka for us and gave out free beer.
• I got really drunk.
• Went to the ddok museum in Jogno 3-ga Station.
• Kenny went in 1,000 stores in Insadong to look for phone charms.

It doesn't sound like a lot, but we did tons of shit. There's still some more we have to do before Kenny leaves on Wednesday, but it'll be good shit.

I watched Clash of the Titans.

I saw it this weekend at the CGV in the Technomart at Sindorim, which is a badass place by the way. I don't really watch many movies, but watching them in Korea is sort of fun. The seats are assigned, which is really weird, but the theaters are all really nice.

To be honest, the movie sort of sucked. I kept thinking Beowulf in my head the whole time. The plot line was really predictable, but it's okay for what it's worth. I don't want to spoil it for anybody who plans on watching it, but did anyone else think that the gods on Olympus were funny looking. I mean, all their shit was bedazzled. I watched the movie in 3D too. I'm not sure if I'm entirely sold on the 3D craze yet, but that's an entirely different story. It's a neat idea. The funny was that the subtitles were in 3D, so I had Hangul right in my face the whole entire movie.

Some good news and some bad news.

Good news: The McDonald's in Bupyeong has finished renovating and is now open again.

Bad news: The Costco in Youngdeungpo-gu has started closed its food court temporarily. When I went with my friend earlier this week, an employee said that it was going to reopen in October. The guy hopefully had it wrong and that's some kind of mistake, since I don't know if I can go half a year without a chicken bake.

There was a whole lot of pillow on the ground afterwards.

The event had a decent turn out, although definitely not as many people that the facebook event made it look like. I'm surprised that someone actually managed to organize the entire event. The funniest thing though, was that there was a Christian awards show that they were setting up for the entire time everyone was there.

Here's the facebook event for the Seoul Pillow Fight that's going on this Saturday, April 3rd. I'm probably going to go and drop by to take pictures, but I won't be participating. I only have one pillow and it doesn't sound sanitary. Everyone's going to be laughing with their mouths open and being hitting in the face. If anyone's saliva is getting on my pillow, it's going to be my own drool. Don't let what I say stop you if you were planning on participating though.
