Chemical castration is now legal in Korea.

This article via the LA Times says that Korea has just become the first country to legalize chemical castration as a method to punish child sex offenders.  If you didn’t know, it’s been legalized in a number of other places, including where I’m from, the state of California.  I only know so much about this because I did some research on it after seeing an episode ofLaw & Order: SVU or something like that a while ago.  I have mixed feelings on the issue and I feel that Korea jumped the gun on the issue, but I guess I can’t blame them for taking action against child rapists.
