The UC system might be making some crazy changes.

This L.A. Times article reports that the University of California is to consider new ideas to make money for the next few years. It doesn't have the entire list of proposals that they are looking at, but it does mention a few of the changes they're thinking about. Here are some of them.

• Three-year bachelors' degrees
• Increasing the number of out-of-state applicants accepted
• Raising tuition for the popular campuses (UCLA and Cal)
• Online courses
